I was excited to read Shielding the Tiny Target. I was impressed by how quickly I grew to love these characters! I adored the community setting in this book. The support Ava finds when her life is thrown into chaos is heartfelt and dear. The lovely people of this small town on Long Island make the story more special. I loved seeing their roles in helping support Ava and Missy.Deena Alexander’s writing in Shielding the Tiny Target is well done, and I quickly found I couldn't put the book down. The high-stakes action, interesting characters, and beautiful faith and healing themes are woven together beautifully to create a wonderful story.
